Stanisław Dąbrowa was educated at the University of Agriculture in Cracow where in 1985 he gained a MSc degree. He continued his studies at the postgraduate course in Real Estate Management at the Faculty of Economics, Management and Finance at Skarbek University (Wyższa Szkoła Handlu i Finansów Międzynarodowych) in Warsaw and a postgraduate course in EU Grants Management at the College of Management in Częstochowa.
He started his professional career in 1985 as a specialist, then a senior specialist and a chief specialist in crop production at the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Mikołów. From 2002 to 2004 he was a Director of the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Mikołów. From 2005 he was a Head of Mikołów branch at the Silesian Agricultural Centre in Częstochowa and from 2006 to 2007 he was a head of Częstochowa branch at the same institution.
From 1990-1994 he was a councillor and a member of the board of Pilica commune. From 1998 to 2002 he was a councillor of Zawiercie county and a Vice-Chairman of the county board.
In 2006, again he was elected a member of Zawiercie county board. He also holds a position of Vice-Chairman of Agricultural Chamber (at the commune level) and is a Member of the Board of Silesian Agricultural Chamber. From 2007 till January 2013 he was a First Deputy Voivode of the Silesian Voivodeship.
Stanisław Dąbrowa was born on the 23rd of March 1960 in Żarnowiec. He is married with three sons. Personal interests include: agriculture, history, sport and folk music.
Stanisław Dąbrowa was elected a Member of the Board of the Silesian Voivodeship on the 21st of January 2013.
